‘Never judge a book by its cover’
Yeah, right. It’s an impossible task. If we weren’t to judge said books, we would have to spend days, weeks, months going through bookshops looking at each individual title for one we want to read. And no one has time for that. So, it is down to a team of designers to come up with striking and beautiful covers that fit the book and make you want to pick it up. I’ll be looking at different aspects of cover design in the future, but for now, here are just some of my favourite covers from recent releases.
